Instructor Cheryl Howard is a nurse educator who is passionate about creating engaging, student-centered learning environments that help nurses build confidence, strengthen clinical judgment, and develop into leaders within the profession. Howard has taught a variety of undergraduate nursing courses in the classroom and online, and facilitates NCLEX reviews to help nursing students develop clinical reasoning and test-taking strategies, and build practice readiness. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes evidence-based education, meaningful student engagement, and the application of knowledge to real-world nursing practice. Her scholarly work focuses on building resilience among pre-licensure nursing students through evidence-based educational interventions, reflecting her commitment to supporting student well-being and academic success. She is currently completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in educational leadership.
