Full Accreditation from CCNE
The University of Central Florida is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award degrees at the associate, baccalaureate, master’s, specialist and doctoral levels.
The baccalaureate degree in nursing, master’s degree in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and advanced practice post-master’s certificates at the College of Nursing at University of Central Florida are also accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, D.C., 20001, (t: 202-887-6791). The CCNE is one of the accrediting agencies nationally recognized by the United States Secretary of Education to accredit nursing education programs. Prior to 2002, all programs were accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
Healthcare Simulation Accreditation
The Simulation, Technology, Innovation & Modeling (STIM) Center at the UCF College of Nursing has full accreditation in the area of Teaching/Education from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and the Council for Accreditation of Healthcare Simulation Programs.
UCF’s STIM Center is among more than 100 programs in 10 countries to receive accreditation from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, which is the world’s largest healthcare simulation accrediting body. Learn more.
