As coordinator of the UCF College of Nursing’s Community Nursing Coalitions, Associate Instructor Geraldine Luzincourt oversees a service-learning program in which hundreds of nursing students gain valuable hands-on clinical experience while providing vital health education and care to some of Central Florida’s most economically disadvantaged residents. Luzincourt, whose interests and expertise lie primarily in community and public health and end-of-life care, has more than two decades of clinical experience as a staff nurse and advanced practitioner. In addition to her faculty appointment, she maintains a clinical practice in hospice care.
