Leading nursing scholar assists rural nurse leaders through endowed scholarship
In the Spring 2021 issue of IMPACT: The Magazine of the UCF Foundation, Nursing Endowed Chair and Professor Angeline Bushy shares why she established the Dr. Angeline and John R. Bushy Endowed Scholarship for PhD students in the College of Nursing who live in rural communities or plan to focus their research on rural health.
“Rural populations are underserved,” she says, “and post-master’s students do not have many scholarships available to them.”
