Dr. Eberbach has been a pediatric nurse since 1987; experienced in critical care, sedation, and emergency care. Her educational journey began at St. Xavier University in Chicago with a BSN, then earned an MSN and MBA from Lewis University, in Romeoville, Illinois in 2009; she went on to the University of Central Florida to earn a DNP in 2015 and a Post-Masters Teaching Certificate in 2017. She holds national certifications in Pediatric Nursing (CPN) and Pediatric Emergency Nursing (CPEN). Kelly is a member of the Emergency Nursing Association and the Society of Pediatric Nursing. Her current professional role is with Nemours Children’s Hospital as the Emergency Departments Clinical Nurse Educator and the Nursing Academic Liaison for community partners.
She was the Chair of the UCF College of Nursing Alumni Chapter for two years, and now is Immediate Past Chair. Under her leadership, the board has grown, implemented a formal mentorship program to align graduating seniors with professional alumni, and proposed a continuing education curriculum to provide chapter members with Florida Board of Nursing requirements for license renewal.
