Healthcare simulation is important to improving the safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of patient care and outcomes. To increase awareness of the profession, the STIM (Simulation, Technology, Innovation and Modeling) Center at the UCF College of Nursing is joining an international community and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare for Healthcare Simulation Week. The global week will be held September 13 – 19, 2021.

During Healthcare Simulation Week, Drs. Mindi Anderson and Desiree Díaz will join an interdisciplinary panel of simulation experts for a Facebook Live event on “The Future of Healthcare Simulation” hosted by Johns Hopkins University. The event, which is open to the public, will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 12 noon EDT.
