Instructions for Prospective BSN Students

The UCF College of Nursing uses a student’s overall cumulative GPA when making admission decisions. The overall cumulative GPA is calculated by averaging all grades of all undergraduate courses attempted at any regionally accredited institution or approved international institution.

To be more specific, courses used to calculate the overall GPA:

  • Must be undergraduate level courses
  • Must have been taken at a regionally accredited U.S. institution or international credits evaluated and approved by World Education Services or Josef Silny and Associates, and
  • All attempts of every course will be calculated into the GPA unless taken for grade forgiveness as part of a state of Florida articulated AA or AS degree program.
