More than 30 UCF graduate programs have been recognized among the nation’s best, according to the U.S. News & World Report 2023 Best Graduate Schools Ranking.
Among the programs climbing the rankings are the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs at the UCF College of Nursing, moving up more than 10 spots to No. 52.
It comes as no surprise to alumni of the program. “UCF has a stellar reputation both within the community and the state, and was the ideal choice,” said Holly L. Muller, a 2021 graduate of the Nurse Executive DNP program and chief nursing officer at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center.
UCF’s DNP programs offer students flexibility, with full- or part-time options, and convenience with online or hybrid online-classroom learning depending upon the degree program. But what sets the UCF nursing doctoral programs apart is the caliber of faculty experts and the high quality of education, demonstrated by the success of its graduates.
“I believe that attainment of this DNP degree prepared me for executive leadership advancement, and has had a favorable impact on my career,” adds Muller.
Graduates of the BSN to DNP nurse practitioner programs also have demonstrated success, continually exceeding state and national averages on the first-time pass rate on board certification exams. Most recent graduates achieved a 100 percent first-time pass rate. This includes graduates of the Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner programs.
