PhD candidate Eunice Ojo, DNP, RN, CV-BC, PCCN, researches technology-based fall risk assessment, fall prevention and health disparities among older adults as a graduate research assistant in Dr. Ladda Thiamwong’s EMBRACE Lab at the UCF College of Nursing. Through her work, she has contributed significantly to improving the recruitment of older adults for research, the experiences of older adults with technology in fall prevention programs, and nurse-led fall prevention programs for older adults. Ojo has presented at local, national and international conferences, published her work on gerontology in peer-reviewed journals, and currently chairs the Aging/Gerontology Research Interests and Implementation Group (RIIG) of the Southern Nursing Research Society (SNRS).
