Preceptor Opportunities
UCF’s College of Nursing is seeking Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physicians (MD/DO), and Physician Assistants (PAs) with a master’s degree or higher to join our growing network of preceptors located throughout Central Florida in the following specialties.
- Hospitalists
- Emergency
- Intensive Care
- Women’s Health
- Pediatrics
- Family Practice
- Internal Medicine
- Specialist Clinics
- Urgent Care
Preceptor Responsibilities
- Provide access to patient encounters
- Supervise students and validate clinical findings
- Provide feedback on case presentations
- Collaborate on patient care planning
- Review and co-sign student documentation
- Offer observation opportunities
- Supervise procedures, as appropriate
- Meet regularly to review student progress and learning goals
