Preceptor Opportunities

UCF’s College of Nursing is seeking Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physicians (MD/DO), and Physician Assistants (PAs) with a master’s degree or higher to join our growing network of preceptors located throughout Central Florida in the following specialties.

Acute Care Specialties:
  • Hospitalists
  • Emergency
  • Intensive Care
Primary Care Specialties:
  • Women’s Health
  • Pediatrics
  • Family Practice
  • Internal Medicine
  • Specialist Clinics
  • Urgent Care

Preceptor Responsibilities

  • Provide access to patient encounters
  • Supervise students and validate clinical findings
  • Provide feedback on case presentations
  • Collaborate on patient care planning
  • Review and co-sign student documentation
  • Offer observation opportunities
  • Supervise procedures, as appropriate
  • Meet regularly to review student progress and learning goals
