Dr. Samantha Stephenson is a dedicated certified acute care pediatric nurse practitioner and nurse educator with over two decades of experience in pediatric healthcare. She currently serves as a faculty member at the University of Central Florida’s College of Nursing and continues her clinical practice as a provider in the pediatric emergency department at local children’s hospital in Orlando. Dr. Stephenson began her nursing journey with a BSN from UCF, followed by a MSN in Nursing Education from FAU. She furthered her clinical expertise with a post master’s certificate from the University of Florida as an ACPNP and earned her DNP at the University of South Florida in 2020.
She is deeply committed to child and family health, with a strong passion for pediatric health promotion, safety education, and advocacy for underserved and marginalized communities. Her dual passion for patient care and education fuels her work as a nurse educator, where she strives to inspire and prepare the next generation of nursing professionals.
