Olajumoke (Jummy) Ojeleye is a nurse-midwife and maternal and child health nurse scientist with experience in both clinical and academic settings. Her research, which has been recognized by global organizations, focuses on women’s mental health and seeks to improve the childbearing experiences for all women and their families on a global level. During her doctoral studies, she examined the perinatal mental health literacy, mental health needs, care preferences, and access to mental health care among perinatal adolescents to a gain an understanding to develop innovative and sustainable interventions. In addition to her research, Ojeleye is deeply committed to teaching and enhancing knowledge and skills.
