Faculty

A member of the faculty for more than a decade, Susan K. Chase, EdD, RN, FNAP, retired in 2020 and was awarded the distinction of professor emerita from UCF.

Dr. Chase’s research focus is the promotion of health, and the support of individuals, families and groups through faith community nursing. Faith communities offer a place to offer truly person-centered care from a holistic perspective. She conducts primarily qualitative and evaluation methods in her work.

Dr. Chase has worked on the development of academic programs and participates in academic program evaluation.
