Post-Licensure RN to BSN

Ready to take the next step in your nursing career? A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) can prepare you for advancement in clinical and leadership roles. BSN-educated nurses are also in high demand nationwide. The landmark “Future of Nursing” report published by the Institute of Medicine calls for increasing the number of BSN-educated nurses to 80 percent by 2020.

Why UCF?

Get a head-start on a graduate degree while an undergraduate student by substituting up to nine credit hours – or three classes+ – of graduate-level coursework that would transfer toward the MSN or DNP degree. When you later begin a graduate program, you already have credits and thus, can complete the graduate degree in less time.

Expanded enrollment for the RN to BSN program – now admitting three times per year – and simplified application process. Licensed RNs simply submit one application directly to UCF, and applications will be reviewed on an on-going basis. A separate application to the College of Nursing is no longer required of prospective RN to BSN students.
