Erin Blake currently concentrates her practice of law in general governance and corporate matters, including litigation, compliance, municipal law, and school law. Specifically, Ms. Blake specializes in local governmental law, election law, economic development, tax increment financing and many other areas of law. She litigates a wide variety of corporate governmental defense cases, including civil rights actions, workers comp actions, property lawsuits, contact disputes, collective bargaining actions, and other employment lawsuits. Previously, Ms. Blake concentrated her practice of law in the defense of medical and legal malpractice claims and commercial litigation. She has substantial trial experience and was recognized with the Jury Verdict Reporter Trial Excellence Award in 2012.

Sherry Buxton

Sherry Buxton is the Chief Surgical Services Officer for Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) and the Adult Hospital Group at Orlando Health. This includes Surgery, PACU, Sterile Processing, ACC Surgery, Endoscopy, Intraoperative Neuro Monitoring, Pain Management, and Anesthesia Support Departments, as well as Interventional Radiology and the Cardiac Cath and EP labs. She is responsible for direct operations in each of these areas and has been in this role since 2003. She has been part of the ORMC family since 1979 where she started her career as a registered nurse and has served in various leadership roles since 1980. She is a member of the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives and Sigma Theta Epsilon, and huge Knights fan!

Ken Dion is a nurse entrepreneur, inventor, scholar and 35-year veteran of the healthcare industry. He is very active with the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is currently serving as Treasurer. He is a founding principle at TurnPath, LLC, a healthcare technology innovation incubator. He also founded Decision Critical in 1999, which was recently acquired by HealthStream.


Kevin J. Dougherty

Kevin Dougherty has served as the COO at CFE Credit Union since 2005. In his role, he has been managing growth at the credit union as it grew to more than $1.6 billion in assets and as it has expanded from 10 to 22 branches. He has completed several professional development courses at The Wharton School of Business, Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business.

Kim Elliott, Brookdale’s senior vice president of clinical services since 2014, successfully maintains the highest ethical standards while developing and implementing corporate processes and policies for Brookdale communities. Her experience across the post-acute care continuum includes Long Term Acute Care Hospitals, Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, Hospice, Home Health, Independent Living and Personalized Living. She also serves as a member of the Argentum Clinical Quality Executive Roundtable. She has a master’s degree in Nursing Executive Specialty Track from Chamberlain College of Nursing, and is proficient in building and leading clinical programs to meet regulatory compliance and accreditation standards while exceeding clinical quality goals.

MeLisa Gantt is the CEO of the Gantt Clinical Research Institute, LLC. She received her PhD in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and is a board certified Operating Room Nurse. She is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel with 28-year of military service and has served in roles such as the Director for the Center for Nursing Science and Clinical Inquiry, Deputy Director for the Joint Combat Casualty Research Team in Afghanistan, and the Regulatory Oversight and Research Consultant to the Commanding General for the Army Regional Health Command in Europe. She is a recipient of three TriService Nursing Research Program grants totaling more than $1 million for her research in Binaural Beat/Brain Entrainment Technology and Reiki.

Adam Goldstein has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial investment field responsible for portfolio construction and ongoing maintenance of client investment allocations. He currently serves as Chief Operating Office at Private Wealth Management’s Heathrow office. He serves on the board for the Arnold Palmer Medical Center Foundation and participates in several hospital initiatives. He also co-chairs Camp Boggy Creek’s annual Challenge Ride.

Teresa Gulino is a forward-thinking innovative leader with extensive healthcare operations experience. With her over 20 years of experience, she has worked in leadership roles at several insurance companies including United Healthcare, AvMed Health Plans and Humana. She currently serves as the Senior Director at HMS, providing oversight and accountability to global staffing, and providing general support to teams in renewing, investigating, negotiating and resolving all types of medical claims. She works closely with her team across the United States and has oversight of 300 nurses. She graduated from UCF with her BSN and from Capella University with her MBA.

David Hanke served as the Vice President of Global Accounts for ThermoFisher Scientific for more than seven years before retiring in 2014. He has had a successful career in the healthcare industry working for companies such as Hewlett-Packard, GE Healthcare and McKesson. In addition to his degree from UCF, he has an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Michael Hsu is the chief financial and operating officer for the Central Florida Kidney Centers, Inc. in Orlando and has been with the company since 2016. He has a strong understanding of business operations, strategic planning and financial management resulting in highly effective partnerships growing financial capability and delivering results in a wide array of healthcare provider organizations. He earned his MHA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an AB from the University of Chicago. In addition to the Dean's Advisory Board, he also serves on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, Inc.

Candy McKnight has more more than two decades of experience, all in Central Florida. She has served in various leadership roles for 15 years. Most recently, she served as director of women’s services at AdventHealth (Florida Hospital) for Women, a 12-story, 332-bed hospital tower that opened in January 2016 in Orlando. She has served as clinical and quality specialist at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. She also served as inaugural chair of the UCF College of Nursing alumni chapter board in 2016, and still holds a leadership role as Immediate Past Chair.


Martie Moore, MAOM, RN, CPHQ

Martie Moore is Chief Nursing Officer of Medline Industries, Inc. To date, she holds the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification. She serves as a Corporate Advisory Council Member for the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel, the American Nurses Association and is a Dean’s Advisory Board Member for the University of Central Florida College of Nursing. Prior to joining Medline, she was the Chief Nursing Officer at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, a hospital within Providence Health & Services and a designated Magnet facility. In her leadership role as CNO, she led the facility through its third and fourth Magnet designation. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at multiple universities, most recently at George Fox University in the Healthcare Administration program. In her early years, she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a master's degree in Organizational Management. Based upon her knowledge and expertise, she publishes and presents nationally and internationally on transforming healthcare.


Rosemary Notarantonio, MSN, RN

Rosemary Notarantonio is an accomplished executive and healthcare leader with more than 30 years’ experience and has functioned at the “C Suite” level as CNO, COO, and CEO. She has served in key leadership positions at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Tucson Medical Center, Palms West Hospital, Brentwood Meadows, and Haven Behavioral Hospital spanning both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Career highlights encompass new program development including Pediatric Oncology and Infusion Program, JCAHO Top Performer designation, process redesigns to improve efficiency, safety, and profitability, DHS recognition for improved organ donation rate, and numerous successful JCAHO and CAP surveys. She earned a BSN from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science degree with a Nursing Administration focus from Barry University. Currently principal at Notarantonio & Associates, she provides interim executive leadership and project management for organizations throughout the country focusing on quality improvement initiatives, revenue enhancement, and expense reduction.

Joyce Ryan has worked in the healthcare field for over 20 years. She is currently the VP for IrriMaX Corporation out of Lawrenceville, Georgia and is responsible for research, clinical education, field medical personnel and regulatory functions. She is the previous Vice President of Medical Affairs at Stryker Medical and has 20 years of experience as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner blended with 12 years of current industry experience.
