Program Description

RN to BSN

The post-licensure RN to BSN degree completion program is designed for registered nurses. The College of Nursing will validate previous coursework and will award up to 27 credits for prior learning.

UCF offers a competitive edge by offering RN to BSN students the option of taking up to 9 credit hours of graduate-level coursework while an undergraduate. Get a head start on a graduate degree by enrolling in UCF's RN to BSN program.

The RN to BSN program is available online or can be completed face-to-face on select regional campuses. Some courses are also taught at the Health First Education Center in Melbourne. The program consists of 30 credit hours of coursework that can be completed in as quickly as three semesters or as slowly as 10 semesters, depending on the number of classes taken per term.

Competitive applicants must complete an AA degree from a public institution in Florida or complete the 12 UCF general education courses, as well as have completed two years of foreign language in high school or two semesters in college. Students missing more than three courses from the required general education or foreign language courses will not be eligible for admission.
