Nursing Prerequisite Courses

2008-2009 Undergraduate Catalog

Applicants for the Basic and Accelerated Second Degree BSN programs who are grandfathered under the 2008-2009 undergraduate catalog must:

  • Complete five of the nine nursing prerequisites (three of which must be biological sciences) with a grade of “C” (2.0) or better by the program application deadline.
  • Complete all nine nursing prerequisites with a grade of “C” (2.0) or better before the program start date.

** Also meets UCF's general education requirements.The first semester of a two semester general or college chemistry course does NOT meet this requirement (i.e. CHM 1045/2045, Chemistry I).
(S) Indicates biological science (three of the four must be completed by the respective program application deadline).

Please note: if you do not meet the minimum grade requirements noted above, you will need to retake the respective course until you meet the minimum grade requirement.

Walk-in advising sessions are available for prospective BSN students (basic & accelerated 2nd degree students): Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 12 noon, and on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1-4 p.m.

All other prospective students should call 407.823.2744 to schedule an appointment with a faculty advisor.
