Accelerated BSN Program

Program description
This four-semester program is designed for individuals who already have a bachelor’s or higher degree in another field from a regionally-accredited college or university. The accelerated program builds upon a solid foundation of prior baccalaureate study, and additional prerequisite courses in the areas of statistics, and behavioral, natural and social sciences.

The program has a very demanding curriculum that includes work-intensive classes and several courses with clinical practice both in health care facilities and community settings. Courses are offered on the Orlando campus; clinical placements are throughout the greater Orlando region. Admission to the upper-division, limited-access program is highly competitive.

Students completing this program will earn a second bachelor’s degree (BSN) and are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for initial licensure as a registered nurse (RN).
