Erin Blake has been a medical malpractice defense attorney in Chicago since 2008. Her primary practice areas are medical malpractice, healthcare, professional liability, and commercial litigation. She manages and conducts all phases of litigation for large healthcare institutions, insurance companies, individual physicians, nurses, privately owned businesses, long-term care facilities and attorneys. She defends claims involving broad spectrum healthcare litigation including medication errors, medical product device malfunctions, nursing errors, delayed diagnosis and misdiagnosis of disease, surgery related complications, cardiac surgery related complications, neurosurgery related complications, and birth injuries including cerebral palsy, shoulder dystocia, and delay in delivery. She also advises healthcare clients on compliance related issues including corporate policies and procedures, HIPPA, EMTALA, ADA, Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Act, state and local law, employment issues, Medicare, and applicable changes in the law. She has substantial trial experience and was recognized with the Jury Verdict Reporter Trial Excellence Award in 2012.

Ken Dion is a nurse entrepreneur, inventor, scholar and 35-year veteran of the healthcare industry. He is very active with the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is currently serving as Treasurer. He is a founding principle at TurnPath, LLC, a healthcare technology innovation incubator. He also founded Decision Critical in 1999, which was recently acquired by HealthStream.

Kevin Dougherty

Kevin Dougherty has served as the COO at CFE Credit Union since 2005. He has completed several professional development courses at The Wharton School of Business, Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business.

Kim Estes, Brookdale’s senior vice president of clinical services since 2014, successfully maintains the highest ethical standards while developing and implementing corporate processes and policies for Brookdale communities. Her experience across the post-acute care continuum includes Long Term Acute Care Hospitals, Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, Hospice, Home Health, Independent Living and Personalized Living. She also serves as a member of the Argentum Clinical Quality Executive Roundtable. She has a master’s degree in Nursing Executive Specialty Track from Chamberlain College of Nursing, and is proficient in building and leading clinical programs to meet regulatory compliance and accreditation standards while exceeding clinical quality goals.

In addition to his degree from UCF, he has an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Molly McCarthy is the Chief Nursing Strategist in the U.S. Health and Life Science Sector for Microsoft. Her primary focus is business development and strategy for Virtual Health at Microsoft. With more than twenty years experience in the healthcare industry, she is passionate about uniting technology and clinicians to ensure improved patient safety and outcomes. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, and began her career as a nurse in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Units. Upon receiving her Master of Business Administration from the University of San Francisco, she combined her clinical and business backgrounds within the medical device and clinical informatics industry. She started in a product and market development role at Natus Medical, Inc. in Silicon Valley. She furthered her career in business development roles for the Association for Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, where she was responsible for piloting a benchmark database that extracted data from hospital Electronic Health Records (EHRs) in order to provide business intelligence to hospital leadership. Prior to Microsoft, she worked with Philips Healthcare’s Patient Care and Clinical Informatics Divisions, where she orchestrated large enterprise system sales and integrations of patient monitoring networks and EHRs. She is an active member of HIMSS and sits on the HIMSS’ CNO/CNIO Nurse Executive Leadership Task Force.

Martie Moore

Martie Moore is Chief Nursing Officer of Medline Industries, Inc. To date, she holds the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification. She serves as a Corporate Advisory Council Member for the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel, the American Nurses Association and is a Dean’s Advisory Board Member for the University of Central Florida College of Nursing. Prior to joining Medline, she was the Chief Nursing Officer at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, a hospital within Providence Health & Services and a designated Magnet facility. In her leadership role as CNO, she led the facility through its third and fourth Magnet designation. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at multiple universities, most recently at George Fox University in the Healthcare Administration program. In her early years, she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a master's degree in Organizational Management. Based upon her knowledge and expertise, she publishes and presents nationally and internationally on transforming healthcare.

Rosemary Notarantonio is an accomplished executive and healthcare leader with more than 30 years’ experience and has functioned at the “C Suite” level as CNO, COO, and CEO. She has served in key leadership positions at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Tucson Medical Center, Palms West Hospital, Brentwood Meadows, and Haven Behavioral Hospital spanning both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Career highlights encompass new program development including Pediatric Oncology and Infusion Program, JCAHO Top Performer designation, process redesigns to improve efficiency, safety, and profitability, DHS recognition for improved organ donation rate, and numerous successful JCAHO and CAP surveys. She earned a BSN from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science degree with a Nursing Administration focus from Barry University. Currently principal at Notarantonio & Associates, she provides interim executive leadership and project management for organizations throughout the country focusing on quality improvement initiatives, revenue enhancement, and expense reduction.

He is responsible for leading a team of directors and account managers who represent Omnicare to senior living customers around the country. He has worked in healthcare for more than 30 years, starting as a pharmacy intern while in pharmacy school.
